This Model of HT220 is very special becauseof  the back cover.   It requires a Special Back Cover that was build to make Radios for the US Secret Service and I must have the only ones left in the world whichis probably true. This one is the 6 freq kit with a PL switch in the back cover.  I bought the Total supply of back covers back in 1980 when I was building a special orderfor  Motorola Sales Dept.  I will supply this Model of back cover for the 6 Freq Slimlineradio if you order one.   Installing this kit in the HT220 Slimline Portable requires a lotof work and knowledge.  I will install this kit for you that will give you a HT220 VHFSlimline 6 freq Portable like this one for $350.00 installed and tested using my Parts or you can supply the radio andI will install the 6 freq VHF Kit in your radio for $200.00.You can supply the crystals to save money or I will order them for you and you can call International Crysal Coand you can Pay for them.   I can install this kit in the short CS model or the PL model. The most commonbuilt module like the ones in the picture are PL lenght. If  I built one in a short frame I mustuse the original SP back cover that had a two  holes that I used to install a busy lite and anda antenna jack. If you have a  good HT220 Slim-line Portable radios you can supply the radio and I will give youcredit for the radio. I will sell you one that is like new with the best Plastic and radio parts that Ican find for $150.00.   The cost of the 6 freq kit installed is $200.00.I just build 2 of these 6 Freq Motorola Portables in the PL length versions andthe large picture is one of them for two of my HT220 Loving Customers.  Channels 1 and 2 are mounted on the radio board where channels 1 and 2 would go andChannels 3,4,5,6 are installed on the small board shown that mounts in the backcover.  The Toggle switch shown is  used for  the Receiver PL to disable it like Motorola did in the regular radios.Email me if you are interested. I can supply the crytals for $25 each for you.   If you donot need the PL switch I can install a 50 ohm antenna jack or a LED thatcan be a busy light or a TX PTT Keyed light.
